Last July I posted under RODLS400 the name of a company that replaces the LCD on the climate control box for $295.00 for the public and $195.00 for dealers, to get the dealers price they need a check sent with the company name,you would think with the power this forum has we could get the lower price, could the powers to be on this forum give them a call and see? As far as the problems with the instument cluster if any one has a bad one and is willing to ship it to me I have been a electronics engineer of 30 years and I am willing to start fixing these thing on the side, and will post what I find on this site, The name of the Company that does the LCD replacement is MIKADO TECHNOLOGIES CO, 1-650-615-9966. Lets quit talking about these two electronic boxes and find the answears.

So do I take the climate controll unit and send them over to MIKADO or do I need to purchase an LCD from them and send them (both the unit and LCD) to you to replace the broken screen?

Any other less costly lcd solutions out there? The lcd on my a/c control panel has gotten that black fog in it. I'll fix it myself if I can get the part.

We haven't got the best deal on this issue yet. What you have in your LCD is leak. Its not a fog. Also, LCD has so many tiny wires going to is that it would be real pain to replace it yourself.

To have the LCD replaced the whole climate control box has to sent in to MIKADO, they are the ones that have the source for the LCD units which they replace, when they recieve yours they send you one off the shelf that they have repaired.The speedo units are a seperate issue, I had offered to try to find the problems with the speedo circuit boards if someone would save a defective one and send it to me but I have not heard from anyone yet, we will see.
