The front Emblem should be at least an inch thick. At least thats how it is on my 98.

But I strongly advise against putting the one in the front anyhow. Because it will look like a big hole in the grille from a short distance.

You should've invested in a better kit, ie Luxurymods or lextasy....somewhere along those lines, not one of these cheapy Ebay ones. I purchased a gold one from the same person and they look like fools gold crap! Plus it didn't come with a grille piece, lexus-parts.com set came with a grille piece so I ordered them and they are lovely.

yeah, the front emblem is screwed in from the back.
that kit looks like its mounted with 3M tape.

i hated the gold on my grill also,... so i painted it black.
i love the way the black looks compared to the old gold.

Thats funny....I just unscrewed mine last night and painted mine black as well. Looks exactly like yours now. We'll see what the rear emblems look like when they finally show up from Hong kong.

If I had gold emblems, I would definitely paint them black

I like my gold emblems on my gold LS, by the looks of the boards here, I'm ALONE...lol

I'm actually ordering a new gold kit as I type this.

Hey Suneet, whats up man? I just ordered some Daizen sway bushings, how grueling of an install was it? I already printed the tutorial off lexls.com
