Does anyone know for sure where I can buy a good used bottom skid plate for my 96 LS 400. All the salvage yards say they might have it but no bites.

 

You find any salvage yard, with anything Lexus, strip the living daylights out of it because you will never see it again. Lexus ion the local yards are rare. may have to ebay someone parting out.

 

I feel your pain. Usually the junkyards throw those pieces away since they make removing parts more difficult. Off topic, but where in NC are you located?

I have distant family in a little town called Evergreen. I myself live in Baltimore, MD and drive trucks all over the country, hence my tag name. Same problem exists here as well.

 

hit up TAP recycling, their a wrecking yard that specialize in both Lexus and Toyota vehicles.

 

1-Go to www.craigslist.com
2-Look for your city or closest city to you
3-Go to autoparts section
4-Type in Lexus
5-See if there are any wrecked Lexus' in your area
6-When you find one email seller
7-Start stripping away if you find one.

Go to www.Nix99.com its a Toyota/Lexus junkyard here in Washington state, but they will ship anywhere.
