hey lextreme, you have been of great help....so in about 3 months imma piece this puzzle together,
first ...sourcing a 2uz block
second...having it sent to a machine shop to install custom pistons...do i need to machine the cylinder walls to proper fit these pistons??
third....get 2uz cylinder head gaskets...with 1uz arp headstuds.

what about knock sensors and stuff like that?? electrical stuff?? and any mods to the stock motor mounts?....any mods to the bell housing??...what compression are these pistons gonna provide? how much power gains can i see with upgraded headers and no cats with a 2.5 inch exhaust ...maybe down the road i might install a blower ...but as of right now imma keep it NA. sorry for too many questions...dont want to have a suprise in the middle of the project!!

i think u misunderstood what im asking. i want to know if your rods will fit in a 1uz block im thinking about doing a custom blower setup in the future but want to do built internals so i dont have to worry about durability.

Bump, i pulled my 1uzfe out of my car this weekend, wanted to do this, i found a 2uzfe motor, i kinda wanted to do this with the w58 swap,

yes the more info the better, so could i get away for sure with the 2uz block and just custom pistons and will the 1uz crank fit no problems? then 1uz main and rod bearing? sorry for all the questions thanks for any and all help
