95 LS400 - Need Help Wiring Amp (Turn On) to Eclipse HeadUnit.
I have a 95 LS400. I would like to know does anyone know what color wire behind my Headunit. I will use to turn on my Amps? I have the headunit wired up and ready ( I found ACC, Power, Ground, Illumination Dimmer) to use but I just don't know what wire turns the amp on & off when I turn on the radio.
My Car has 3 Wire Harness (White, Grey, & Blue) I am not using an Aftermarket Wire Harness. I am Splicing the factory wire harness.
I am upgrading my entire system.
Thanks For The Help!
Ps. A wire diagram would be greatly appreciated.

Are you trying to use the factory amp? From what I have read, I don't think you can use the factory sub with an aftermarket deck.
If not, and you are replacing the amp and sub, I would tap into the power antenna lead for your switch power. That receives signal from the deck when it turns on and you can use that for your amp too. Just have to figure out which wire is the deck lead.
Hope this helps

Is it another possible way for me to turn the amp on & off?

Oh.. OK. well, you will need to find the remote wire, usually it is blue, but cannot say. have not torn my apart yet. Basically it is a wire that will run back to the power antennal telling it when the deck turns on. If you do not find this wire, you antenna will not go up. I will be getting my wire harness on Fri. If you do not know by then, I should be able to tell you.
You can tap into it at the antenna in the trunk to run over to the amp.
Mabey someone else here can tell you what color the wire is in the dash.
Good luck
