Hi all ,glad to be a member and please take it easy on me as this is my first post .
I have a few questions .
i have just bought myself a 90 Celsior with 120,000 K's on it , it has 18 x 8 mags on it with 215/40/18 tyre which are too narrow for that size rim , you can see how the tyre is pulled in .
I would like to fit 245/40's on it but I can't seem to find an exact maximum size that will go under the front guards ?
I know that 235/40/18 will fit but would prefer the 245's as will be running the same size front and rear so I can do front rear swops to get decent milage out of the tyres .
I will be doing a bit of fluid replacement starting with engine oil + filter , an auto flush , new brake fluid and P/S fluid as well .
I also intend fitting a kit to the P/S pump as I understand that they leak and that the leak in itself in not a huge drama but more so that it leaks on the alternater underneath , taking in mind that it's 15 years old I would rather be ahead of the play !!
I also intend fabricating a small thin alloy splash tray to go under the P/S pump for future protection , can one buy such a thing already ?
Also is there anything else I should be looking at doing ?

I would change the diff oil, the air filter, and flush the coolant too. When you do the diff, take off the filler cap first. It would suck to take off the drain and then find the filler stuck or rounded off!

Thanks for that , I will do all of those as well , already have a new filter for it but in the very close future will be fitting a cold air kit to improve the efficiency .
Have just fabed up 3 " tail pipes running from the last join to replace the rear mufflers , the noise has increased about zero , but they look awesome , especially if you look underneath and see the 3 " bend !!
Next prob will be to fit a MP3 player .

Makes me ponder about the rear mufflers , what do they actually do except add a fair bit of weight to the rear end ?
With the dual 3" pipes on with no rear cans the noise is only slightly increased , I look at some of the SC400's with trick aftermarket cans that are close to standard in sound and I think " why bother " , $600.00 smackaroo's for nothing !!
Twin 3 inch pipes out the back look very cool !!
