navigation screen problems

navigation screen problems
My 98 ls400 navigation screen goes blank. It happened alot this winter and now when I start the car? Trying to see if anyone else has the same problems? Need help fast!!!

98 GS Navigation screen problems also
I am also experiencing problems with my nav screen When I turn the key to acc the screen will come on fuzzy then after a few minutes the screen will go blank. I am taking my car to Bayridge lexus this week to have them take a look at it. If they can't resolve this issue with out it costing me alot money. I will then have an after market tech audio installer take a look at it. Any one with any advice would be grealty appreciated.

My friend, Its being a while since I responded to this thread. However here is the outcome. I took my car to a local car alarm installation shop. I was told that this guy specialize in repairing navigation screen units. He couldn't repair it . His reply was that he will sent it off to the pioneer manufacturer to see if they could fix it. They couldn't repair it either. I ended up go online to ebay motors auctions where I located tap recycling which specializes in toyota and lexus cars and parts. They had the part which I purchase for $ 450.00. In addition they gave me a six month warranty on it. If interested here is there number 800-765-7100. Just to let you know, I call Carson Toyota and they quoted me a price of $6,100.00 for this part.
