air suspension
I hope someone can help me with this question. I want to buy a LS400 with air suspension, and I want to make sure the car has it before I buy it. So I did searches here and other forums. As far as I could tell if the car has 3 separate switches next to the shifter instead of 1 switch it, has air suspension. But here is my problem, I have looked at over 25 different LS 400 from 1998-2000 and none of them have 3 separate switches. Only the 1 switch. Is it that UCF20/21does not have electronic modulated air suspension. Or is it just a rare option? Or is the 3 separate switches statement not true.

Air suspension in 2nd/3rd gen even rarer!

FYI, the 2nd/3rd gen models with Air suspension will have 2 switches on the center console next to the shifter, not 3!! ....one is the "power/norm" switch and the other will say "Height/High/Norm"
If you are patient and have time on your hands (and keep a watchful eye out) you will probably find one eventually, with Air suspension on ebay etc., but it will most likely come in combination with the NAV system (I'm talking about the 98-00 models)....except for mine, I have never seen a 3rd gen. with both Air and the Nakamichi sound system!
