Default exploding door lock switch

Having to pay a brief visit through Scumbag Central, I deciced it would be prudent to lock the doors of my LS400 using the Door Lock Switch....

...except that the swtitch literally went "boing" in my hand and popped out of the assembly.

On further examination, it looks like this has already happened for theprevious owner(s), as there are tell-tale signs of "super glue". Looks like I'll have to do the same myself. I'm ******ed if I'm paying over €200 for a whole new window/door switch set-up.

(a) anyone else had similar "comedic" experience with dodgy Lexus switchgear?

(b) anyone got a cheap (and working) RHD window/door switch assembly for sale?

I had the same problem, all I can say is watch for one to popup on that auction site. Also you don't need one that works all you need is one that the switch is not broken on, as you can simply trade out parts.

As sonbum1 stated, all you need are the parts. You may well find this at a local Toyota parts dismantler/wrecker. Check other model Toyotas for a similar set-up.
