door lock
Hey, I'm new to the forum. I own a 96 lexus ES300 that will not lock doors from the drivers door switch. The passenger door switch does lock all doors (including the drivers door) although I don't know that is is supposed to. The windows switches all work. Any help is appreciated, I have been struggling with this for a while.

Sometimes, after numerous opening and closings of the driver’s door the wire going to the switch breaks at the point that it enters the door near the hinge.
Of of course it could also be a defective or dirty switch.
