Default 91' Ls 400

My car has almost 200,000 miles on it and the Check Engine light stays on. Has anyone else exoerienced this? Almost everythin under the hood has been replaces and checked.

My 1998 had that problem, but I didn't replace anything nder the hood. I can't remember where I read this...but they told me it had to do with my gas cap becomming too loose. I replaced the cap and never had a problem again. But my light stayed on until I burned half a tank. This might not be your case...but it's worth a try.

I have pulled the codes out of GMs and Fords, but how do you do it on a toyota that is older than 1996? That is when they changed the computer sytems from OBD1 to OBD2

Pulling engine code on OBD1 on LS is same as all Toyota OBD1- jump E1 with TE1. Search the forum for more details.
