You bring up an interesting point. I know mating performance springs to OEM shocks will wear them out from the extra heat. I didn't think the reverse would be true though.
Are you saying that the OEM springs will wear on the Bilsteins because of increased rebound travel?
I asked Bilstein and NeuSpeed about this and both said it's not a problem but they have a vested interest. I figured they'd be engineered to handle OEM springs.
Since this post was over two years ago and the members participating in the conversation are no longer registered, I doubt you'll get a response from them. Perhaps one of the other members has Bilsteins on their LS and can comment.
