I took the brake apart to do some powder coating but forgot to look at the orientation of the brake pads. There is a picture link , it not that good but you can see that one side of the brake pad have a small dip, i would like to know if this is going toward the front of the caliper or the back or it does not matter at all?

If I'm understanding your question correctly it goes towards the front.
