Default '95 heater controls

Hi All,

I posted earlier about the LW's '95 LS 400.

Both the "outside temp, clock" and heat/cool displays have gone south. There was no warning or missing digits, blanking or blacked out displays , just started it up and no digits or graphics.

The back light on the temp. display works and the "Outside Temp" is visable.

I am wondering if there is a common component that would cause this. I haven't had an opportunity to check into it yet, but I was hoping that maybe someone here has had some experience with this problem.

If anyone has ideas, I'd appreciate you input.

Check your owners manual, they might be feeding off the same fuse. Dont take offense, because fuses are responsible most of the time.

Thanks for the idea!

I suspect that you are right. it seems unlikely that both displays would croak at the same time unless there was a common fuse or sensor.

I will have time to do some tracing this weekend and I will let you know what I find.

Thanks again,
