Anodize the STB?

Anodize the STB?
Presently the brushed finish on the STB blends reasonably well...however I've been debating getting it anodized black. What do you think...keep it silver or get it anodized?

But then again, since the ends are black and so is everything else it may look a tad better being anodized.

After I made some adjustments, it now touches the hood liner. I suspect that if I get it anodized, the liner will rub the coating at the high points and wear it thin. The brushed finish is easy to care for so I'll just leave it for now.
