This is surely the MOST INCREDIBLE paint job I've EVER seen!

Quite simply........ Can you imagine seeing this car(s) driving aroung in the Summer daytime?

That would be pretty dangerous if you ask me.
That thing will blind you when the sun hits it.

No, I don't think there will ever be a car like this from the factroy. Too dangerous and not cost effective at all. You think getting some wheels chromed is expensive, how about 10 or so body panels.

You can actually paint your vehicle like that. There is a new a product on the market that comes in chrome. I've seen it on a show car and could not believe how nice it appeared. It really looks like the entire vehicle was dipped in chrome. Here is a breif description on the product:

LuminOre looks, feels, and acts like hot-cast metal, because it is up to 95 percent metal. It will adhere to almost any surface, including but not limited to; foam, plastic, gypsum, wood, metal, fiberglass, plaster, ceramics, concrete, terracotta, cardboard and even paper. Once cured, the product has all the characteristics of a cast metal piece, including texture, luster and heat conductivity.

Kind of neat.

Here are the colors Luminore is available in.
The showcar I saw was sprayed with the X metal and then cleared with 10 coats.

This paint, if sold in small quantities, could be handy for people who want to "chrome" small parts of their cars, such as grilles, shift bezels, and interior/exterior door pulls.
