I thought mine was burned out, till i opened my glove box at night (exterior lights were on).

Is the light only supposed to come on when the exterior lights are on as well?

Man i never thought about that. You sound right though, it would make sense for them to turn on at night when headlights are on. In the daytime i guess they figure, why turn on the interior lights. GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME.

 

You're correct...the glove box light only comes on when the parking lights/headlights are turned on.

You know whats funny? I even opened mine up during the day to check it out phsyically (it looked fine, thats why i was suprised). Then i wrote down the size of the bulb on a peice of paper, and put it in the glove box. Then when I got to autozone, i opened my glove box at night to get the paper, and wallllllaaaa... let there be light.

I had some trouble trying to replace the filter
