the silver paint on the inside edge of my tail lights is chipping off or something... has this happend to n e one else?

You're the one who did the 3rd gen front end conversion on your 2nd gen right?

I'm assuming you didn't convert the rear as well since the difference between 2nd and 3rd isn't very obvious.

FYI, all clear tails are illegal and cops will ticket you for it. I'm not sure how lenient the cops are in the bay area, so it's up to you if you want to risk it.

thanks for the link brian. they have been out of stock for over a year. i will try and order it and see what happens. someone told me that they dont make all clear anymore (i think {-.-} told me??)

i have had two other cars with clear tails before and the cops inside of S.F. dont care at all as long as your bulbs are good and red. out side of the city is another story though. even so, it is only a ten dollar fix it ticket. i think of it as a penance that you have to pay for having a unique kick-awsome ride.
