You know how the signal portion of the tail lights are orange? Anyone plan on making it red? That orange is quite an eyesore especially on an onyx black IS... What would be the best way to make it red so that it will look the same as the rest of the light? I think i've read on the rsx boards that they did the same thing, but they used red 3m tape or something like that. I am not sure how long it will last tho...

 

I used 50 % blazin' red from autozone , it turned out pretty good.

I bet eventually there will be aftermarket clear/red tails. I m surprised that Lexus didnt use LED lights on the IS.

 

actually, Lexus did use LED brakelights on the IS (at least the one that is actuated by the brakes); it's just not the same kind you see on GS or SC. For some reason, this was not mentioned in the brochure.
