I had a noise that sounded like an exhaust leak coming from the left-side of the engine. It had infact been previously diagnosed as a leak at the exhaust manifold. I was dreading paying to fix that.
Wednesday I dropped in on Jason at JPImportz and had my brake fluid flushed. While it was on the rack , he gave it a quick once over and alerted me to the break in the pipe. It is very visible with a flashlight. He also said that I need to change the motor mounts and made various other observations.
JPImportz is a very nice shop for those in the Dallas Area. I was impressed.
Sooner , help a brother out!! How do I get to this damn thing without dropping the Tranny or removing the intake manifold??
Hi,
My car also have the same pipe leaking, my mechanic is charging me $600 to replace since it is very hard according to him. Is there any shop that will do it at lower price? also, what will happen if I didn't replace it? I have 96 LS with 90,000 miles.
