Default Gauge cluster lights

The gauge cluster lights do not work after replacing the capacitors and fuse what else could it be?

Secondly the passenger drl doesn’t turn on could it be a fuse or wire socket issue?

If all the backlights are off, the DC power circuit would be stopped working. If certain part is off, the CCFL itself or the CCFL driver circuit would be dead.

I’m far from an expert here but one thing I know is you can bench test a cluster’s lighting with a 12v source, I’ve done it, so with the cluster out of the car you could in theory confirm whether it’s an internal issue or something external to the cluster before going deeper. I don’t know whether you’ve done that yet.

is this internal to the dash, or located somewhere else? does this power anything else specific if its external to the cluster
