Default Rear end sags when "loaded"

Is this problem inherient in all LS440's: When an adult, say 200lbs sits in the backseat, the rear end will easily drop and inch or two and the rear tires tend to appear as if the tops start to lend towards each other.

The shocks are on the border in needing to be replaced, they don't recover as fast as the fronts when you do the "bounce" test.

Any advice?

I think this is normal when you have lots of weight in the back. Though, my LS does do it more than my moms car, still I think it is normal. Am I wrong?

Its normal. I have heard these cars are well known for spring sag anyway- meaning the rear ends tend to set lower over time- even without passengers.

My rear end was sagging before I installed new struts. Now it is raised about 11/2" from what it used to be. It does become lower when there are passengers in the back, whish is normal.

Thanks for the info!! Does anyone out there have replaced their coil springs with the Eibach ones? Was wondering, even though it lower the car about an inch, if it reduced the sagging when loaded?

Keep in mind the ride quality. High performance springs = harsh, firm ride. If you lowered the car- it would sag even lower with passengers / luggage.
