Default Engine makes strange noise

Anyone else have their 98+ LS400 have their engine makes this weird “whirring” noise? It’s sort of hard to describe so I found a video on YouTube that shows how it sounds:

I’ve already changed my water pump, timing belt, both pulleys, timing tensioner, serpentine tensioner, idler pulley, fan pulley, and replaced my power steering pump. I’m starting to run out of ideas lol

Was resolving the noise your motivation for doing the repairs or did you do the repairs and picked up the noise along the way? Something could have been reinstalled incorrectly or there could be a bad bearing or something. Do you remember when it first started making the noise? Has it gotten worse or changed at all?

I made those repairs because my alternators kept dying due to a cam seal leak (took me a while to figure out it was that and not the power steering pump). But I figured while I was in there I might as well change out the timing stuff since they already had 80k miles on them. And as far as I can tell it also made this noise the last time I replaced the timing components, I guess I just lived with it back then. Now I’m more curious as to why it makes that noise. I use the Aisin brand timing kit and only use OEM parts whenever else I can.
