Default Code 48 and 71

93’ LS400

Just got a new ECU for my ls400 and it ran perfect when I put it in. No CEL until I drove it about 30-40 miles and then it came on out of no where. Diagnostic gave me a code 48 and a code 71. Car runs great just need to clear the CEL to get it smogged. What should I do? And does anyone know if these codes are related in any way?

48 - Sub-throttle position sensor signal is 4.3V or higher, or sub-throttle position sensor signal is 0.2V or lower when idle switch is OFF
71 - EGR system malfunction

before you continue, what's the condition of your battery? are the terminals tight?
