Need advise on buying code reader
I am considering buying the following: EQUUS Innova 3120 Code Reader Scanner OBD 1 OBDII 2/II CAN
I wanted a code reader to read the codes on both a 91 model as well as a 94 model LS400 as I own one of each.
The description stated good for Lexus 89-94
I called Equus and was told that for our model - the LS400 it was good only for 91 & 92 not 93-4 !
Any one have one and can verify this info? The Equus guy had to look it up !!
And anyone know of a code reader that will do both the 91-2 as well as 93-4 models? Want to stay below $ 200.00

it doesnt matter, it's an OBDI car for 89-94 model years and you can check it with naught but a paperclip.
