Just got a 91 LS that sadly did not have a keyless entry key along with it. Been doing research and can't find anything related to getting a replacement. I've seen that when you get a new fob you need to also get new ROM for the computer, but genuinely just cant find anything to purchase.

 

New replacements have not been available for a long time. You have to go diving into junk cars, hoping you find one that still has the key and the ROM chip or the entire keyless module. Even if you do find it, the key will be cut already, of course.

Keep in mind, the factory keyless system for 90-94 is very primitive and only has a range of 3 feet.

The more practical solution now is to install an aftermarket system where you get a separate fob.

 

Do you have any recommendations for an aftermarket system?

 

Personally I don't, sorry

I just use the master key with the car. I never use a fob

I've been interested in the Viper system in the past, which was advertised with the LS in the 90s, but it's expensive, and I didn't feel it was worth the trouble
