Apparently my techstream did work on my 2003 but not on this 95.I was using a basic handheld code reader which gave me basic functions.Which code readers are you guys using for your 95s thats not so expensive. Can it clear the air srs light?I justr dont want to do the paper clip trick.
I also feel like throwing this techstream dongle in the garbage since I have to configure it again pn my laptop.Chinese made and purchased through ebay. Was working before and now I have to install and coinfigure

yes i believe techstream is for models starting in 96 so you just missed it. also isn't techstream limited to windows XP or older OS? unless you have an OS emulator, newer OSs might not be compatible as well.

I'm realizing most of these Bluetooth handheld diagnostic devices are usually money grabbing schemes. I ordered the elm327 and downloaded multiple apps. It was all a money grab for subscription.from YouTube reviews I ordered the handheld autophix 0126

The U.S. didn't require OBD2 compliance until 1996. Lexus made the 95 at least partially OBD2 compliant when they did the redesign. So while you may not have all the SAE parameters available to you, you should be able to use most generic OBD2 parameters and codes for troubleshooting. You can check the Vehicle Emissions Control Information (VECI) label to confirm. This sticker is usually attached under the hood.

If your Lexus is OBD2 complaint, you can use the
Innova 5110 code reader Innova 5110 code reader
to read and clear check engine codes, I/M Monitor Status, and maybe even ABS codes. This is an inexpensive code reader from an American company. There is a free, but optional app, RS2, that can be used with the 5110 with no subscriptions, no fees, and no registration that keeps the code reader attached to the RS2 app.

You're right . The elm327 did not work on my 95 and when I had the tech stream I received the same non working results . I just went and. Ordered one that was highly reviewed with live streaming without bi direction features on eBay . The techsteam did work on my LS430 but not the 95 . Great info . Thx

I use a very old OTC I picked up on ebay YEARS ago. Even gives me live sensor data.
