98 Celsior ECU Swap
Hello, I recently swapped my ecu in a 1998 toyota celsior, I swapped the immobilizer from my old one to the new one however I still get a blinking security light and it turns over but doesnt fire. Any help would be appreciated

Blinking security light simply means that the car is still immobilized and the engine has no idea to fire. It means that your swapping was not successful. I'd carefully check the soldering points first.
A precise troubleshooting requires to use a code analyzing equipment and it is beyond for most average DIYers. A simple confirmation is to swap back the chip and the security light is distinguished. If so, the chip and the original ECU are not damaged. I need to add that a low leak soldering iron and a wrist strap are the must to swap the chip to prevent the damage to the chip and the ECU board.
