Default Broken VSV and Bi-Metal VSV

While taking off my intake manifold while changing my starter both the VSV and Bi-metal VSV snapped right off and after inspection it seems like they were glued in place previously (seems to be a common “fix”). I am just wondering how screwed I am am now having those parts not connected to the vacuum system and how much it affects the drivability. They will eventually get replaced, just seeing if it’s drivable until then

I should note it’s only the highlighted part of the VSV that broke off

Broken part is a vent the BMVSV should still function properly. Depends on how exactly it's damaged of course.
