I bought a 98 ls400 to fix up for my dad and I’m wondering if the 97-98 dash and dash harness are the same? Or would I need to get 98-00? I have a 98 dash that’s in good condition but it’s grey and the car that needs it is tan but my buddie has a 97 dash that is in good condition but I’m not sure if it will mount… any info would be amazing🙏🏼

check the part numbers to see if they differ.

iirc, dash between 95-97 and 98-00 have subtle differences so it will not be a complete bolt on. it will be 90% the same but some bolts like the center vents may not mount properly to start.
