Default why doesnt Lex have that blue look???

Stock Lexus lights seem to be just white.

When I Audi's and Benz theres a little bluish/purplish to em and different angles?
I think that is awesome?

Why is Lexus diffferent...is cuz were not German?

Depends on your projectors, I think Bimmers and MB have different projects that projects the light differently than Lexus...

From far they will look blue but in reality they are all the same color...

a lot of bimmer, mb, and audi's, they have projective hid housing, and that's what give out the purple and blue flickering. if you look at the s2000 or the s430, they have the flickering too.

those look like 7000's. the bmws benz audi's are all 4300/4100. Ben you got hids that burn at a higher temp to get that color. They were referring to the oem bulbs.

yeah all factory hid are 4100, even mb and bimmer. it's the different type of housing that makes the difference. and you shouldn't just trust camera, it doesn't do justice to color, a lot of time misleading too

The new RX330's HID lights are the same color as the ones on BMW and Audi. They look very nice. Hopefully lexus will put the projective housing on other models also.

Lexus uses reflector housings, while MB & BMW uses projector lens housings. Think of projector lens as a magnifying glass. When light hits the glass....it creates a color spectrum ...mainly on the outer edges of the light beam....thus, when looking at MB & BMW HIDs at certain angles....they appear bluish/purple.

Because Lexus uses reflector housings....you wont see this at all....unless you upgrade your halogen/HID bulbs to a higher temp....which will create a uniform light color no matter what angle you look at it from the same distance.
