HID Bulb Replacement?
hello to everyone,
scan thru some of the posts here but didn't find all my answers (in
one place).
i've got a '98 GS400 with HIDs that, with all the rain we've had here
on the east coast lately, have taken in and retained quite a bit of moisture.
soon after, one of the HID bulbs (driver side) began to flicker and it
is finally out.
questions:
1) can i try just replacing the bulb?
2) if so, what kind of bulb am i looking for and where can i purchase it? (d2r?)
3) besides latex gloves for bulb handling, what other precautions should i
take (disconnecting any "high voltage" wires)?
4) if bulb replacement doesn't work, what else can i try on my own - or do
i need to see the dealer?
