question about deck brake light.
had my deck light removed when my stereo was installed. Would this cause my light on the dash to come on saying i have a burnt out bulb. I think banana did a diy on fixing a problem as such, can't find it in my search....so anyone have any suggestions.

I disconnected the wire that created the warning light to go off on the dash. I posted some pics late last year at this thread..... see page 1 and 2....

where exactly is that light plug at?? Is it in the trunk or under the dash i need to remove pin 4 from? i hope its not where my stereo equipment is...i hope i am in luck. thanks bryan

The plug is located in the trunk area....driver side.....pop off the black plastic pins that hold the trunk lining in place....you may need a flashlight at this point, but look and feel towards the gasoline cover....it is mounted in that upper area.
