Default Best projectors?

I'm going to install projectors before my HID kit on my 2000 ES. What's the best one to go with? Is there a popular brand or type among Club Lexus?

Acura TL (bi-xenon) << you can buy a small solenoid now to eliminate the big piece at the bottom of the projector, which will clear a lot of needed space. This one's my favorite based on cost vs. output.

Acura TSX << had to use this one based on size. Good output, but not as wide as TLs and not bi-xenon
Lexus RX << no experience, just heard they were nice.
Honda S2000 - Most peoples' favorite, but are expensive and hard to find, output pics seems to be fantastic.
Lexus LS - The holy grail of projectors I've heard, no personal experience, very expensive.

Morimotos (aftermarket?) - Saw decent output pictures, but the ease of install seems to be the big plus on this one.

I've installed this kit on a car and was very pleased with the results. http://www.theretrofitsource.com/com...l#.VFuIoM2COJI

I have TSX's in my SC. They are pretty small and fit most everywhere. But like stated above don't go too wide.

I'm beginning to wonder if the width is that much of a concern. When you're making turns, some of the view is being blocked by the a-pillar anyways. I suppose if you're in a very dim area, it might make a difference. I live in a well-lit area so I don't see width as a problem. I'd be satisfactory with TSX projectors.

TSXs are definitely satisfactory. But my gf's 2009 TL's projector output, side by side, is completely better than mine (TSX retrofit) in every way. It has a wider output, seems she has a more even spread of light. But all this could be subjective, my retrofit wasn't perfect but it was "good enough" for me. Huge upgrade and difference from factory ISX50 projectors.

Here are some pictures I took after of mine couple years ago. This is with factory bulbs, I made the D4S bulb work by shaving a little notch off to fit in the D2S projector because I wanted to retain as much OEM stuff on there as possible. I know, the irony of retrofitting and retaining OEM equipment. Like I said, it's not perfect, my cut off isn't super sharp. But after wrangling with it for 2 weeks, I had to get back to work on school stuff. After a few adjustments, they were pretty good. But it could have used a little more work.

You're probably right. It's nice having it, but you'd never notice unless you're looking for the width, or someone points it out. But I wonder myself, if we were to have an output like LS's, and then having to drive other cars, would it annoy us that we don't have that same output. Fact, I get annoyed having to pull out a key and turn it in the ignition to start a car. Guess I'm a little spoiled. lol

Yea, I only notice the width when parked next to a wall, otherwise I can't tell a difference! I suppose it's cool to brag about it, though only a car junkie would care
