Help. I just installed OEM HID lights on my non-HID 99 GS 300. There are two connectors left unconnected next to the headlamps, but I can't find any connectors to hook them up. Are these the auto leveling motors? The beams are very high-I can see the street lights light up and inside the car in front of me. PLease help!: Crazygs
could be, i have never seen a hid headlight with the autoleveling computer so i can't say for sure. but it sounds right to me it's for the autoleveling computer
nonetheless you NEED to adjust your headlight for sure. read my diy in the information category on how to adjust that

Thanks for the help. By the way, OEM HID is from the factory, so they have the two motors for the auto leveling, but still unable to find a way to hook them up.

If I understand correctly, there are two level sensors on HID models, one in the engine bay and one in the rear. They provide info to the auto-level ecu to either raise or lower the HID aim based on vehicle attitude. That could be your missing connection.

crazygs, I'm in the same boat, I bought the whole OEM setup, lenses, ballasts, and bulbs but for the life of me can't figure out what plugs into what, is there some converter or wiring assembly I'd need to put OEM HID lenses in a non-HID GS ?? And as far as your question goes, I'm pretty sure that those are the autolevel plugs, so you'll have to manually adjust them, there are screws and a level bubble to help you.
