Hey guys,
I wanted to up grade my is300 w/ smoke headlight, but i heard that you need an up grade to keep them HIDs. Does anyone have any info about this up grade? What exactly would i have to do?

 

the jdm black housing doesn't have hid setup at all, so you will need to get hid kit, that's the upgrade people are talking about. a whole new hid kit, around 400 to 500 bucks

why don't you wait for the sport design to come out? you will be able to get the housing then, which is designed for hid already

 

thanks for the info! What do you mean by the sport design, and when will it be coming out! If i will be able to get the hid black housing then, will it come with hid, or can i swap my stock ones hid to it?

 

the sport design is out very soon, in the next two weeks. my dealership told me the cars are coming in next week. you can go to dealership to get more info.

well you can just get the housing and swap in your stock hid, at least for the GS i know it's a separate package
