Default headlight/fog bulb sizes, wattages

what are the fitment sizes/wattages for our sc's? im looking for the wattage and fitment (9005, 9006, etc) for 1) the low beam 2) the bulb right next to the low beam (NOT the high beam, but the one thats in the same housing as the regular low beam), 3) 1996 fog lights.

what im planning on doing is changing out all 4 beam bulbs to hyperwhites and my fog lights to a rich yellow, like ive seen some of cl's gs members do. from what ive found from searching, the fog light is 55 watts and the regular low beam is 9006. i have no idea about that beam thats in between the turn signal and the low beam, but im hoping to get a bulb that matches the 9006 hyperwhite i want to put in place of my low beams. if anybody has this info id love to have it

they are called "parking light", "city light" and/or "wedge light". so you can seach using them.
I have Raybrig 5w but I just order $4-5 OptiBlue brand one from online. (they are rated 8w and I'm not sure if I'll have any problems). I'll see if I like them or not. otherwise I'll put them in my license plate light

just ordered a set of the piaa x-treme super white plus 9006 and 9005. now im wondering is does anybody know exactly what size the parking lights are so i can see if i can find a bright white bulb for that to match my new low/high beams? also, while doing this, i noticed that my fog lights don't come on at all. im not sure if theres a special button/**** to turn for them or what? i dont know if theyve ever come on or not (had the car since june), so i dont know if both bulbs burned out or the wiring is messed up. the fog lights are supposed to come on when you twist the **** toward the front of the car to turn on your parking lights and/or low beams, right?

yea there's a **** that turns on the fog lights, it's right next to where you turn on the head lights... it's like a little version of the head light switch. I made the big mistake of accidentally turning these off and ended up thinking my fog lights went out when they didn't. Ended up buyin another pair and found out they weren't popped

ah *whew*, just a moment of newbism there thanks for the info, ill mess around with that tomorrow morning in fact, assuming they work, im thinking of ordering some of the H3 bulbs in either a bright yellow (like corvettes), or a matching super white like the piaa x-treme white plus's i bought for my high/low beams. any suggestions as to which may look better?

Update: it seems that our fog lights are 55W. would using 70W in these damage the harness or cause any other problems?

anybody know if using a 70W or stronger bulb (H3) for our fog lights would cause any damage? melted wire harnesses etc?

One of the better brands of lighting products you should consider are Philips ‘Bluevision’ bulbs.
Considerations:
'Bluevision' are rated closely to the Sylvania's ‘SilverStars’ in colour(White) and lighting output. (4100 deg.K) Which have better output to even the higher PIAA wattage bulbs.
Philips has bulbs for all your lighting applications;
9005, 9006, H3 and 168.
They have the parking sidelights; 5W/168 bulbs, which match exactly with the 9005/9006 in colour.
Blue Vision replicates the HID High Intensity Gas Discharge System.
Characteristics: blue multi-layer, filled with halogen and xenon gas, thinner filaments.
Footnote:
I have the Philip 'Bluevision' setup for my Front end lighting requirement and could not be happier, less a HID setup
