I'm thinking of buying Sylvania ST9006 for my ES, but I'd like to know how big is the diff. b/w the standard bulb and these. Are these bulbs as good as the PIAA?
I installed mine about a month ago on my '96 ES, and let me tell you... what a huge difference for the better! The bulbs shine brighter and whiter than the very yellowish and dim stock halogens that I've had ever since I got the car new in '96. Since it gets dark earlier these days (esp. when I leave work), I admire the drives home on the main and back roads. It's almost like I've given the headlights another life At any rate, take advantage of these Sylvania Silverstars; they're a sound addition to your car, and you won't be disappointed.
I don't have pictures with the new bulbs on my ES, but lighting pictures themselves don't do any justice. You have to see them before your eyes Oh, as for PIAA, I can't comment on that since I've never experimented with them.

PIAA = Honda Lighting
OSRAM/Sylvania = Good
The silverstars are ok. Don't get the cool blue stuff. If you want lighting that works rather than "lewks kewl" get Sylvania Xtravision.
