Default hi-beam light bulbs exploding... es 330 2004

I recently had my es 330 2004 sport design serviced. I had two hi-beam lights out(exploded). They were replaced and a week later the passenger side hi-beam exploded again. Any ideas would be helpful, thank-you.

Did you repalce them with stock bulbs? The usual cause of bulbs exploding is if you touch the glass with your bare hand.

True - skin oil will cause a burst. Use a rag to handle them. Yo can even use alcohol to clean them off first.

Thank guy's, but the bulbs were replaced by a Toyota dealership. Past work on my ES 330 has been top notch. I forgot to mention 4 days before my 2nd set of bulbs exploded, my car wouldn't start. Battery was boosted and my car started instantly. Checked battery(indicator was blue) full charge. Checked for loose connections.. none. Could a voltage regulator be bad? What else might fit into this scenerio?

Do you have moisture in the headlight housing? If the water hits the hot bulb it will explode. Check for water leaks and repair accordingly.

The "voltage regulator" is in the alternator. At an idle, you should be getting about 12.5-13 volts at the battery (assuming a fully charged battery). Rev it up, it shouldn't go up.
