I have had the JLC reverse lights in my 10RX350 for at least five months now and the housings are still good. I'll check again when I get out of class. The only problem I've had was that it created interference with the radio whenever they were on.

That's cheap price you found. You buy it from the vendors here cost $40.

Melted housing? That's not good.. definitely some other factors that must have caused this. I know that the CREE High Power LED bulbs run hotter than regular LED bulbs, but they should still be cooler than halogen bulbs that are on the same amount of time.

We have 7.5W CREE LED Bulbs that just ran out of stock due to the recent group buy we had on this forum and these have shown no problems so far:

Whoops! Forgot to update. Housings are still perfect.

There is only interference when I shift into reverse. As OCD as I am, I slowly got over it. The radio works perfectly whenever it's in any gear other than reverse. As soon as I shift into reverse, all I would hear is static. I looked around and the answer that seemed to make the most sense was that it's from the amount of power drawn.

I got mine from the vendor on here as well. Forgot who so I went and grabbed the site link.

iJDMTOY: Do your bulbs also create interference with the radio?

Yup, as as ThChinaman. I installed these as my reverse light and whenever I go into reverse, I get a little bit of static on FM stations. It appears as though if AM stations are clear though.

Anyone also have interference with their parking sensors? I installed three different branded HID kits into my car and the front sensors randomly beep when the HIDs are on and car is at idle. Kits used were first iJDMToy, HIDextra, and then DDM Tuning. I installed another HIDextra kit into an identical 10RX but that car is fine.

That might be a vehicle specific issue. We typically don't encounter these types of problems with interference much at all. Some cars are more sensitive to the EMI emitted from HID kits than others I believe.
