PIAA Ion crystal are the best fog light bulbs but, if you prefer something more clean. Get the Philips All Weather bulbs. They are the same except without the purple tinge. I have tried both and it all really depends on taste. They both work good in fog but, the Philips All Weather are cheaper and harder to find. You can get them on Autolamps Online.com or Powerbulbs.com

LexCiting,
I tried your HALO wraper on my GS300 fogs. It does not work, the HALO wraper is to big for 9006 bulb housing. Did you tried this yourself?

I thought about getting PIAA Ion crystal but $100 a pair is a little bit too much. Instead I order Philips All Weather from autolamps-oline.com I'll post pictures once I got them.

Did you ever take the pics?? I'd like to see them. I'm also a bit confused. Which bulb type should I be shopping for??? 9006 or H3?? What's the difference besides price?? Which is better quality?? Which fits better??

I'd like to know who sells PIAA ion crystals for $100/pair. These are only sold in boxes of one and they run $30/each (for the H3).

Xtremes and Super Plasmas can be purchased in boxes of 2. I paid $69/pair of H3 Xtreme Whites Plus and $75/pair of HB3/9005 Xtreme White.

Left: regular 9006 bulb
Right: Philips All weather
You can see yellow tint on the all weather bulb.

$100/pair for 9006's is still too high. They can be had for less.

I had my PIAA Ion Yellows for about a year now...I can't find one thing to say except that they are GREAT! They seem to match up with my HID's on top perfectly, they are as intense as they are bright...Best 60 bucks I've ever spent..
