Default Just installed Volt HID...now what?

Just installed Volt 6000K for my low beam (09 IS)

Now the lowbeam looks great, but my fog and drl are still halogen and I don't like the colour.

I am thinking of changing fog to projector led

As for the DRL, I want to do the same but there's 2 issues:
1) regular DRL is 9v? LED is 12v? So will I need a relay?
2) I think DRL and HiBeam on the 2IS are same light, so what's a bulb that will work both as DRL and as HiBeam?

Thanks in advance!

Not going to install HID for the fogs.

VLeds is going to be quite expensive after shipping and duty. But my real question is that is there a led bulb that can work both as DRL and as HiBeam?

No LED can reproduce the high beams that halogens DRL can produce.

If you ever find it, let me know.

So I guess forget about high beams? Just LED the fogs and DRL?

Leds in the fogs wont produce as much usuable light as the stock bulbs, but if youre just going for looks then leds will be alright... You could go with HIDs in the fogs? That would give you the HID-matching look you want as well as more usuable light.

I'm a little confused. So the DRL and High beam is the same exact bulb? If I change it to an LED, it basically means I won't have a usable high beam? Is the stock DRL bulb a halogen?

Yes, yes and yes. DRL/Highbeam are the same. You lose high beam function when you use LEDs. And the stock bulb is a halogen. You can either have the cool white DRL with no highbeam or ugly yellow DRL with highbeam... Sucks but its the only way right now.
