full led swap one light not working
car : 2gs
just swapped out all my leds and everything was is fine.
one light (specifically glovebox) however is not working.
i checked everything i could think of.
-checked fuse
-tried swapping bulbs (other bulb didnt work)
-took out the three screws that hold up the glovebox and unconnected / reconnected the harness for the glovebox light
-tried oem bulb (didnt work)
what should i check for? the light was working with the regular bulb before i attempted to swap it

I am not sure about your 2gs, but I had he same problem with my 03 SC430 when I recently did a complete LED swap. VVTiBob informed me that the glove box light only works when the cars parking lights/headlights are on.
so does the key have to be in the ignition? or the lights just have to be on. and to which position?
ill try it, if so though thats such a stupid design... what if i forget something in the glove box adn its dark out at night.
i guess with the full led swap with the smd board that shouldnt be a problem tho

so in that case...
1. turn headlight on while in park (with key)
2. turn headlight on (without key)
both of these should work?
edit : just tried it.
stuck key in turned on headlights (opened glove box) = doesnt work
took key out, left ignition to on position (opened glove box) = doesnt work

everything was plug and play, for the life of me i cant figure out about the glove box light though.
where are u? if u really want I can give u a hand, show u how to do it.
its pretty much popping out the cases, pulling out the bulbs and hooking up new ones in. the worst that can happen is you blow a fuse (in my case)
