Default Head lights are weak!!

Thinking of changing my bulbs for the headlights and fog lights . Stock bulbs are very weak . What replacements do you guys recommend? I want to get the white look not the rainbow or blue look . Thanks

Hey!

The Osram/Silvania 'Silverstars' claim a close to HID color temperature (white) and from personal experience, they seem a *little* brighter and more white color, but not too noticably different from stock. There have been a couple reviews of them on the forums.

The only real way to get powerful lighting is to go HID xenon. There are several manufacturers who make aftermarket kits. Hopefully some other members can point you to the websites. (I always forget them)

I have tried many different types of bulbs and I find that real HIDs are the best. Check em out...

same here... i know the $500 is sorta worth it, but i like paying $20 or new bulbs even more. hey njes, try looking for some Nokya bulbs. my bro's been using them, and no color fading. they're really nice.

Halogens get dimmer with time, so if the bulbs you have in now are old, you'd probably notice a significant difference just by switching to some new halogens. Also, if you're outside lens is hazy or real scratched, that might be part of the problem too.

What is the price of some good HIDs? And I think I am starting to get that "hazy" lens crap on my es - what would it cost to replace the actual lens (outside of the dealer)?
