is there an HID kit that does not require drilling on the dust compartment housing and that is more of a plug and play installation ....

Yeah pretty much all of them are PnP. Only drilling would be if you wanted to mount the ballast a special way. Dont know where you heard that.

For low beam HID--no drilling just plug and play!
Fog lights--minimal drilling into plastic so wires can come out back, easy!!!

For the IS, you need to drill. Unless you get a real slim ballast.

I heard you were supposed to drill a little hole when you install HID's? I didn't since I don't have a drill though.
yeah i think im gonna go with 4300k... what is the purpose of a relay ? im really bad with stuff like this.lol
the power from a relay comes directly from the battery, so the power is constant. the power from the bulb connector is not always constant. so you get some flickering.
with a relay, you also have a fuse to protect the HID kit. it's cheap to replace the fuse, expensive to replace the whole kit.
make sense?

yeah it makes sense... thanks. so the smart thing to do is get a relay with the kit ?

Drilling is optional if you want to run the wires to the outside of the dust cap and down to where your ballast is, assuming you want to mount the ballast on the outside of the headlamp.
Relay harness is always optional but recommended, HID kits upon start up draw a surge of power to ignite the ballasts, this prevents your stock harness from frying and gives you a constant power draw to your kit. However, an HID kit frying a stock harness is very rare.
