Default Quick HID Conversion Question! Plz Help!

Hey, and thanks in advance!

I had ordered a H11 HID kit for my is250, but would eventually like to use D2s bulbs once the h11 (rebased) fail.
Would something like this just clip into the after market ballasts and let me use the d2s in my existing housing? Or would i need some other method to clip the bulbs into place?

Yes, you'd have to modify your projector slightly to accept a D2S bulb. But other than that, these adapters will plug into your aftermarket ballast and work with any D2S/D2R bulb.

Would i still have to cut into the dustcover in the back of the housing?

I'm not sure about the side of the 2IS headlight, if you have a photo i'd be able to tell you for sure or not.

However, we sell these replacement "rubber boots" in various sizes that you can use.
