I am currently using HID D2R bulbs and I think they are 35w. I was wondering how I can change my headlights into 55w bulbs. Do I need converters or new HID kits? or Can I just use the 55w bulbs without burning the connectors? Please give me suggestions. Thanks!

 

well u need a different bulb and a different ballast. because the bulb needs to be able to handle the bigger wattage and the ballast will provide that bigger wattage. most likely you will need a new kit, however i'm not familiar with the lexus HIDs because i used to have regular halogens and i put in an HID kit.
