oh yeah, and one of your headlamps is brighter, not because of the bulbs, but because of the aiming on your headlights. pull into a garage or some other flat ground and point your headlights at the garage door. there is an aiming device which will aim your headlights up and down, turn it until the meter matches and the lines line up properly.

I hear everyone talk about upgrading the bulbs but forgetting where you buy a better harness that can supply the extra juice. How much wattage does the stock harness supply compared to new bulbs and such? So where do we buy the better harness?

I'm telling you guys, just get a REAL HID conversion kit instead of the bulb swaps. yes, it is a few hundred bucks but i am pretty sure the brightness, quality, and the longevity of the bulbs will compensate. and please do not get the fake blue stuff that sells anywhere between $4 a bulb to $80/pair. the blue light does not fool anyone and yes it will burn your sockets i can show you mine so i learned my lesson.

Dude i'd love to get a conversion kit but the difference between $100ish to $800 bucks is night and day to us young student folk.
Some of us will take what we can get... unless, however, you want to fund me.

exactly my point. of course we want the HID conversion, it's not like we don't. we just can't afford it. it takes me more than a month to save $400. if i don't spend it on other things. i'm not trying to fool anyone, i know they don't think that they are HID. that's not why I have them, i have them because they look cool, and they are brighter, not by much, but they are. and it changes how my car looks at night

Thanks E I figured that too, it's just a screw by the headlamps that aims the headlamps ,right??

yes, the long long bolt, with the hex end, and has no plastic or anything on it, just a really long bolt sticking out. that is the up and down headlight aiiming. the one that does left to right is the shorter bolt, with the plastic meter on it. look at your leveling bubbles in the top of the headlight, see if the lights are level already, and if not, level 'em until the leveling bubble is set

Would all these same numbers work on a 97 or newer ES3?

I gotta agree w/ meZoom! on this one. The real HID kit is worth it because its the real deal, not a regular bulb with a blue tint and a bit of xenon gas in it. I would not put the blue stuff in my car because every ricer on the road got 'em. In all honesty, everytime I see a car with the 'fake' xenons going down the road I automatically think 'there's a person who could not afford the real thing.'

that's because you have this image in your head of these xenons being the cheap way out of HID. they are in no way HID. maybe you know some people that think they look like HID, but for most people, they do it to look cool
