Default 55watt Heat Question -HID experts chime in please

So I've got an Avalon now. I went to ddmtuning and using their Philips link, I found out what types of bulbs my car uses stock. Well it seems my fogs are H3-55 watt, based on this information here:
http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...RG-Results.htm

Now my question, since they are already 55watt, would it be ok to throw in 55watt HID's? I'm assuming temp doesn't make much a difference here, as I would think about going with either 4300/4500k or 3000k from the website.

Also since it's already 55watt, would I require the wiring harness? I was thinking for my birthday make a little gift to myself and do upgraded lights, even though I have reflectors in the car, I have them pointed downward enough to where any extra visible glare shouldn't blind anyone.

Appreciate any help whatsoever.

I been running the 55W HID's on my DD for 2 yrs now just using the OEM wiring. I didnt go with the extra wiring harness because I believe the OEM halogens were already 50W, so stock wiring was just fine.

But would it be ok for the stock fog light housings, I hear alot of, "stay away from 55watt for fog housings as that much heat can melt stuff", but they are stock 55watt and I was under the impression that halogens produced more heat. Correct me if I'm wrong though please.

Yeah, they are on the lower part of the bumper:

Not my car, but the fogs are in the same spot.

I would assume that if you can put a 55Watt halogen bulb, then it would be fine to put a 55Watt HID kit. Since the point of using HID's is because they are more efficient, the only conclusion we can make is that they waste less heat.

I say go for it! But do remember that although the hid's consume 55 watts, they do have an initial start up spike that's around 80+ watts depending on the kit.
