Default UCF10 HID install question (how to get hi/low function)

I have a 90 LS400, yesterday I installed 93-94 Eagle Eye housings, and a custom bi-xenon HID kit (9004 harness with H4 bulbs). My lights no longer will switch from low to hi and my fogs will not work (so i'm guessing its stuck on high). I have searched and nobody seems to have answered anything in any of the posts. Has anyone figured out a way to get these to work properly?

Thanks.

Do you have a Picture of the Wiring for the HID's??
Also Were the High's and Low's Functional before the HID installation??

Um, no picture of the wiring but it plus into one of the stock plugs, and it has a relay harness that gets power directly from the battery

And my lights were fully functional prior to the installation

You say you're using 9004 HID bulbs? The Eagle Eye housing's are for 9003 bulbs... Did you purchase a Bi-Xenon kit that gives you high and low or just the low beam kit?

As far as the fog's go, this is a common problem. Best thing to do would be to wire the fog's for use as DRL's. Or if your ambitous, figure out how to redo the headlight / fog light harness and relays so that they work when halogen's are eliminated. I'm wiring in DRL's in place of the fog's. I'm using H3 LED bulbs.

The HID's with the Eagle Eye's and Bi-Xenon bulbs will give you more than enough light. I don't think you'll miss not being able to use the fog's.

When I fitted my Hi/Low HID kit mine did not work until I swapped the wires over in the original headlight 3 pin plug because the original set up was incompatible to the HID wiring.

did you install hid fogs too? from what i remember you have to switch the polarity in the fogs(or maybe it was the low beam). i remember it was one of them for my kit atleast. mine came with instructions on how do to this.

Go ahead and post the beam pics. That way we have an idea how these look with OEM and some of the aftermarket retro installs.

I agree. I'd like to see what the lighting would look like.

There are 3 plugs on your headlight harness (car side, not HID side). De-pin the outside two (not the middle) and reverse them. Your fogs will work.
